Bedtime for kids
Tap any one to watch it move, hear a friendly fun fact, and make a silly sound!
What's here
Twelve cozy bedtime things, deliberately gentle: a soft pillow, a warm blanket, a plush bear, a sheep who hops over a fence while you count. Everything on this page moves slowly and sounds quiet, because we know exactly when you'll be opening it. Tap the lullaby and it hums. Tap the dream cloud and it floats. This is the wind-down page, built to be the last two minutes of screen before the last story of the night.
Meet these first
- Counting Sheep, the little sheep who hops over a fence to help you drift off, one, two, three
- Plush Bear, the perfect cuddly friend to hug all night long
- Blanket, who tucks you in all snug and warm for sleep
- Storybook, full of tales a grown-up reads to you before sleep
- Lullaby, the soft, gentle song that helps a baby drift off
- Dream Cloud, who floats above your head, full of happy bedtime dreams
- Warm Milk, the cozy, sleepy treat before snuggling into bed
- Slippers, who keep your feet warm and comfy on the way to bed
- Alarm Clock, who sits by your bed and beeps in the morning, because mornings come back
How to play (60 seconds)
Use this page as a walking tour of your actual bedtime routine. Tap the slippers and put on real slippers. Tap warm milk during the last sip. Tap the storybook right before you pick up the real one. Save the counting sheep for last: count each hop out loud together, one, two, three, in your slowest, sleepiest voice. Ending on the same character every night gives the routine a little anchor, and toddlers are very loyal to that sheep.
Good to know
Bedtime is quietly one of the best times of day for new words, because the same objects show up in the same order every single night. Blanket, pillow, book, bear. That repetition is exactly how first words settle in, and a soft voice naming cozy things is a pretty pleasant way to end the day for everyone. If you'd like a screen-free version for the nightstand, the free Starter Pack of first-words cards is on our printables page at /printables.

For daytime energy, there's plenty: feelings is the natural sibling (the sleepy face lives there too), pets and cats are full of expert nappers, and farm-animals covers who else goes to sleep when the sun goes down. The homepage has every theme for tomorrow.
