How to play (60 seconds)

Play "who helps?" Ask your toddler which truck helps when a car breaks down, and celebrate when they find the tow truck's hook. Then ask which truck brings the letters, and pretend to open a mailbox together when the mail truck pulls up. End on the fun one: tap the ice-cream truck, hum along with its song, and ask "what flavor do you want?" Even a point or a single word ("nana!" for banana) counts as a turn in the conversation.

Good to know

Trucks are great for what-does-it-do talk, which stretches a toddler from naming things to describing them. "Truck" becomes "tow truck," then "the tow truck hooks the car." You don't need to push it. Just answer their point with one more word than they gave you.
